Using the Network Map

Understand how to use the Info360 Asset network map to interact with your data layers.

Hide or show map layers

You can switch different map layers on and off to show only the assets or data you are interested in seeing.

To do this:

  1. Click the layers icon .
  2. Use the show/hide icon to switch layers on or off.
Note: Different assets and data are shown at different zoom levels. If you can't see what you are looking for, you may need to hide other layers and/or zoom in further. See Customize Network Map Display for how to change the zoom settings.

View a list of assets or other spatial data

You can see a list of your assets (per type) or of other spatial data (per layer). You can also apply filters to find a subset of assets/data.

To do this:

  1. Click the list icon .
  2. Select a Data Type and Layer.
  3. Apply filters if you want to find a specific subset of assets/data. For assets, you can filter on any of the asset attributes. For spatial data, you can filter on the imported/mapped fields.

    The filtered set of assets/data is highlighted on the map and the map shows how many filters are applied.

    You can remove all filters by clicking the X or by opening the filters and selecting Remove All.

Find assets or spatial data on the map

If you know the Asset ID, you can use the search box to locate it.

You can also locate an asset/spatial data from the list.

  1. Open the list and apply filters to find a subset of assets/data.
  2. Click on a row to view an asset/item on the map.
  3. Use the CTRL key to select more than one asset/item in the data grid and see all of these on the map

Apply a spatial filter to your list

  1. Open the list .
  2. Open the Draw Polygon tool .
    Note: This is only available when the data grid is open, and only one spatial filter can be applied at a time.
  3. Click on the map to draw the points of the polygon.
  4. Assets/data in the polygon area are highlighted on the map, and the list is filtered to show only the assets/data that fall within the polygon.
  5. You can apply further filters if you wish .
  6. To remove the polygon filter, either click on X on the active filters box (removes all filters) or open the filters and remove the Spatial filter.

Remove assets from a filtered list

If you want to remove specific assets from a filtered list:

  1. Locate the asset in the list.
  2. Click on the three dot icon on the right of the row .
  3. Select Remove Asset from Filter.

Zoom out to full network

The Network Map will always open in the same location/zoom as the last time you used it.

To quickly zoom out to see all your data on the map, you can use the Fit to Extents button.
