Working with Bridge Substructure
Create, analyze and review bridge piers, bearings, abutments and foundations.
- Add, remove, or move bridge abutments, piers, and pier foundations in-canvas.
- Use parametric component parts for your abutments, piers, and pier foundations.
- Review and modify component attributes in the Stack.
- Review and modify abutment, pier, foundation and bearing style settings using the Style Palette.
Tip: To make it easier to view and edit bridge substructure, you can modify component display, adjust terrain surface opacity, or even hide the terrain layer.
- With a bridge selected, right-click and expand Component Display. Checkmarked bridge components are visible.
- From the Views drop-down menu, click
to adjust terrain surface opacity. - Click Manage, expand the Display drop down menu, then click
to manage visibility for the terrain layer.
