To import network data from an external source, select the appropriate option from the Import submenu of the Network menu.
Network data can be imported from the following sources:
- Snapshot File
- Open Data Import Centre (see below)
- CSV file
- InfoAsset Planner
- AutoCAD DWG file
- Acoustic Survey data files - SewerBatt (.XML) format
- CCTV Survey data files - including Examiner, sewer.dat, PACP, MSCC XML, BEFDSS XML, CleanFlow, WS and SUFRIB formats
- Manhole Survey data files - STC25/26, MACP, BEFDSS XML and SUFRIB formats
- Asset / Survey images - Image Summary (.IFM) file
- EACSD format files
- RibX XML files
Open Data Import Centre
The Open Data Import Centre can be used to import network data network from a variety of external sources including:
- GIS files
- previously loaded GIS layers
- CSV files (not in InfoAsset Manager format)
- tab separated variable files
- Access databases
- ESRI geodatabases
- ESRI file geodatabases
- SQL Server databases
- Oracle databases
You can set up your own mapping between fields in the import data and fields in the current database. Advanced users can also use scripts to control the import process.
