Release Notes in this Version

This topic lists any bugs that have been fixed between versions 2026.0 and 2026.1 of InfoAsset Manager.

See Known Limitation and Issues for a list of limitations and any issues that we are aware of.

The fixes listed below are those that are viewed as likely to impact on users in an unexpected way, mainly changed simulation results, or differences in behaviour that might not be obvious.

Importing ground models from GeoTIFF

A problem with ground models shifting by one cell row when importing from GeoTIFF has been fixed.

Importing grid ground models from files

When the import of a grid ground model from an ASCII raster file fails, InfoAsset Manager now releases the file so that it can be renamed or edited without having to exit InfoAsset Manager.

4K displays

The appearance of toolbar buttons and other areas of the user interface has been improved for 4K displays when running Windows 11.

Ruby method model_object_collection

The Ruby method model_object_collection now returns a meaningful message if an invalid type is requested, instead of "Unexpected number of bytes read from buffer".

Creation of TIN grounds model from LandXML

Some issues with the creation of TIN ground models with breaklines, contours and data points from LandXML have been fixed.

Importing complex polygons from a shapefile

Multi-part polygon features are now imported correctly from a shape file of type CShapefile::ePolygonZ.

Grid windows

It is now possible to change the font size in grid windows from the Grid menu.

Running on a new PC

Some users experienced an error "Getting options: User has opt-out for event logs" when first running the software on a clean PC. This should no longer happen.

File geodatabase import

A crash that was occurring when attempting to import a polyline with missing Z values from a file geodatabase has been rectified.

Time series data

The Autodesk version of InfoWorks Asset Manager now includes access to TSD objects.
