Rename Assets Dialog
The Rename Assets Dialog is used when renaming nodes or pipes in the network as part of the Automatic Node Name Generation and Automatic Pipe Name Generation processes.
It is displayed when you click the following buttons in the Name Generation dialog:
- Rename all nodes now
- Rename all links now
- Rename selection now
Existing IDs will be overwritten by the renaming process. To keep a record of existing IDs, check the Keep a record of the old node / pipe IDs for reference box.
Choose to store old node or pipe IDs in User Text fields (this will overwrite any existing data in these fields), or to append the node or pipe ID information to the Notes field.
