Create New Hose dialog box

Adds new flexible hose assemblies along with hose routes to a pipe run when the active hose style uses subassembly. Otherwise, the Create New Route is displayed. All hose commands activated in place for forward creation.

Access:

With the pipe run active, select a flexible hosing style (with the Use Subassembly check mark selected on the Tube & Pipe Styles dialog box, Fittings tab) and do either of the following:

  • On the ribbon, click Pipe Run tab Route panel New Route .
  • In the Model browser or graphics window, right-click the blank area, and select New Route. Ensure your cursor is selecting nothing.

New Hose Assembly Name

Specifies the unique file name for the flexible hose assembly.

New Hose Assembly Location

Specifies the location for the flexible hose assembly with the contained hose route. Browse to or enter the needed location in your workspace.
