Teeth with Grinding Notches Factor dialog box

Displays a dialog box for input of grinding notches dimensions in Spur Gears Component Generator.

Enter the dimension values and click OK. The calculated value of factor is inserted into Teeth with Grinding Notches Factor. If you want to insert a value that does not correspond with other inserted values or calculation criteria, the edit field turns red and it is not possible to insert value to the Factors dialog box.

Access:

Ribbon: Design tab Power Transmission panel Spur Gear

. In the Spur Gears Component Generator, Calculation tab, click Factors. In Factors for Bending, click Factors in the Teeth with Grinding Notches Factor list menu.

Note: This dialog box is accessible only when the According to ISO, DIN, or CSN option is selected in the Method of Strength Calculation selection list in the Calculation tab.

OK

Click to confirm the selection and close the dialog box. Enters the calculated value of factor to the calculation.

Cancel

Click to close the dialog box.
