Kinematic Diagram dialog box

Displays kinematic diagram of gear arrangement. Move with the arrow to select the appropriate diagram and insert dimension values.

Access:

Ribbon: Design tab Power Transmission panel Spur Gear

. In the Spur Gears Component Generator, Calculation tab, click Factors, and then click next to Face Load Factor.

Note: This dialog box is accessible only when the According to ISO, DIN, or CSN option is selected in the Method of Strength Calculation selection list in the Calculation tab.

Use the edit fields to enter the values. Left column represents values for gear 1, the right column represents values for gear 2. Gear 1 is a driving gear, and gear 2 is a driven gear. Only text boxes which correspond with selected kinematic diagram are active.

Designed Dimensions

Check the box to enter values manually.

Pitch of Bearings

Enter distance between shaft bearings.

Distance from Center

Enter the distance from the center of shaft.

Medium Shaft Diameter

Average quadratic distance of shaft diameter between bearings.

Pitch Diameter of Second Gear

Pitch diameter of the second gear on the same shaft.

OK

Click to confirm the selection and close the dialog box.

Cancel

Click to close the dialog box.
