Extrude Runoff Surface Reference

Creates a runoff surface by extrusion.

Access:
	On the Core/Cavity tab, click Extrude Runoff Surface. Note: Extrude Runoff Surface, Bounded Runoff Surface, Radiate Runoff Surface, and Extend Runoff Surface are grouped. Click the down arrow to show all the options.

Edges

Specifies a set of edges to create runoff surfaces. To add edges, click the edges in the graphic window. To remove edges, hold down CTRL as you click.

Method

Rotate

Sets the direction with an angle from the X or Y axis.

Align Axis

Sets the direction from a surface edge, face edge, planar face, work axis, or work plane.

Direction

Sets the direction along the X axis in the Mold Design Coordinate System.

Sets the direction along the Y axis in the Mold Design Coordinate System.

Flip Direction

Reverses direction of occurrences.

Angle Value

Redefines the direction using an angle value.

Select Linear or Planar Entity

Specifies the direction of the runoff surface by selecting the surface edge, face edge, planar face, work axis, or work plane.
