The Nodes window contains a different spreadsheet style grid for each type of network node object. Each column in the grid contains data for a particular field, with each row in the grid listing the values for a single object. See Using Grids for information about Network Object Grids.
Open
the Nodes window using the button of the Window toolbar, or select
Grid Views | Nodes from the Window menu. More information
about the data in each column of the grid can be found in the
Nodes Data Fields topic.
All data fields are read-only for projection runs (greyed out columns). Most fields are editable for incident and response runs, even if the incident and response runs have already been carried out. Note that some fields may still be read-only for incident and response runs if they are not valid for the current run type (e.g. Water Quality or BalanceNet fields for normal runs) or if they are not applicable to the object type.
See Editing Object Fields for Incident and Response Runs for details on how to use this window to edit object data.
The display of data in the window can be restricted to a selection of objects by choosing an option from the Results display mode dropdown on the Results Toolbar. The options are:
- All assets - data for all network assets will be displayed in the window
- List - data for objects in the chosen Selection List will be displayed in the window. When this option is chosen, a list of all available Selection Lists will be displayed. (See the Selection Window topic for further information on the use of Selection Lists.)
- Visible in map - data for network assets currently displayed in the Map view will be displayed in the window
- Selected in map - data for network assets currently selected in the Map view will be displayed in the window
The Nodes window has context-menu capabilities similar to those of other grids. These allow users to :
- cut, copy and paste data
- sort and filter data
- set new value for cells
- select and find object on Map view
- group selection at top of grid
- display object properties
Refer to Using Grids for further details.
