This document lists product fixes which have been made in InfoWorks WS Pro 2024.3
See Known Issues for a list of limitations that we are aware of.
The fixes listed here are those that are viewed as likely to impact on users in an unexpected way, mainly changed simulation results, or differences in behaviour that might not be obvious.
Edit Summary Report Settings
The GMR Edit Summary Report Settings option has been moved from the context menu. It is now available in the list of items when you do Open As.
Calibration Options - Help
The help has been updated to give correct values for roughness in the Calibration Options dialog
Merge from another network
When merging from another network, a crash could occur. Also, the network could not be deleted after the merge. This is fixed.
DWG export
Labels were not exported to DWG. This is fixed.
Run type and Scenarios
Changing a run type between a type that does not support scenarios and a type that supports scenarios could lead to a conflicting message in the scenario choice list. This is fixed.
SQL and scenarios
SELECT clauses did not work properly with scenarios in SQL queries. This is fixed.
SQL Editor
The SQL Editor was inserting square brackets around all fields. They should only have been inserted around GMR fields. This is fixed.
Fire flow simulations and scenarios
Fire flow simulations were switching back to the Base scenario when the run begins. This is fixed.
Fireflow - Hydrant Testing
If the Control start and end times are not aligned with the hydrant test times, then an error message is produced and the hydrant test will not proceed. This error message is a false positive; it has been removed.
A workaround is to reset the Control times or disable validation.
WS Pro Exchange
WS Pro Exchange could crash if you use the WSOpenNetwork.close method, and then use the model object it was opened from (e.g. to commit changes). This is fixed.
GMR Summary Report settings
GMR summary report settings were sometimes not saved correctly. This is fixed.
Copying networks from cloud databases
An "error getting blobs" message can arise when copying networks from cloud databases. This occurs for networks containing large numbers of changes to large network objects in multiple commits. It is a rare issue. This is fixed.
Property tab - Profile editor for PRV
If the PRV's profile exceeds one day in length, there will be a warning message in the profile editor stating that the profile is longer than the repeat period. This message will occur even if the repeat period is set to one week or two weeks. This is fixed. The warning will no longer appear if the repeat period is appropriately set to one week or two weeks. The inappropriate warning message is a false positive within the profile editor and does not affect validation or the simulation.
