Material testing and data fitting

Accurate material properties data is critical to achieving accurate simulation results. The Autodesk Moldflow Materials team has a long history in developing and applying test methods that best capture a material's properties for the purpose of injection molding simulation. We work closely with third party laboratories so that they can supply quality material data that meet these standards. Material data must be correctly fitted and formatted for use with Autodesk Moldflow software. The Autodesk Moldflow Materials team accepts data for inclusion in the material database if it meets our quality and traceability standards.
