Grill with round holes (for cross-sectional shape (3D))
This dialog is used to describe a cross-sectional shape (3D) consisting of a repeating pattern of round holes. Four inputs are needed:
- Hole type
- Distance between holes
- Diameter of round holes
- Shape adjustment factor for imperfect round holes
Hole type specifies whether the hole is a through hole or a blind hole. For blind holes, the depth of the hole must be specified.
Distance between holes is the distance (gap) between two adjacent holes.
Diameter of round holes is the diameter of each hole.
Shape adjustment factor for imperfect round holes is a factor to handle imperfect round holes (which are not perfectly round). If the hole shape is somewhat close to round but not perfectly round, this factor (whose value is generally greater than 1) can be used. This factor can be determined heuristically for each case.
