Changing viscosity models or parameters
The viscosity model and associated parameters used in an analysis can be adjusted, for materials selected from a personal database.
Note: You can only change the viscosity model, or edit the properties of materials selected from your personal databases.
Open a study.
Click
(Home tab > Molding Process Setup panel > Process Settings).The Process Settings Wizard dialog appears.
Click Advanced options
Click Edit from the Molding Material box.
The Select Thermoplastics material dialog appears.
Select the Rheological Properties tab.
Select the required viscosity model from drop-down box.
Click Edit viscosity model coefficients and enter the required parameters.
Note: For the Matrix Viscosity Model, there are restrictions on the sequence, grouping, and order of the parameters entered.Click OK to close each dialog.
The modified viscosity model will be applied for that study.
Note: The modified viscosity model can be saved in a personal database for reuse in other studies.
