To unproject the selected points

Click the Point-Cloud tab > Project panel > Unproject option to reverse the Project Point-Cloud process, and delete the records of the points' deviations from the CAD surface. You should unproject a point cloud and project it again, when:

  • you change the scanning parameters.
  • you filter the cloud.
  • the CAD model was unavailable while the part was scanned.
  • you are using points from a different scanning system.
  • you apply a best fit to the alignment.
Note: The Unproject option is available only when creating inspections for CNC and Manual machines.

To unproject the selected points from the CAD model:

  1. Select the points you want to unproject.
  2. Click Point-Cloud tab > Project panel > Unproject
