Use the Customise Ribbon page of the Customise Ribbon dialog to create and manage custom tabs that contain commands from the default tabs.
To display the dialog, right-click the ribbon, and then select Customise the Ribbon.
Create and edit custom tabs and groups
- To create a custom tab, click New Tab.
- To create a group within a custom tab, select the tab in the right list, and then click New Group.
- To change the Name and Description of a custom tab, group, select the tab or group in the right list, and then click Edit.
- To reorder a custom tab or group, or the buttons within a custom group, select the tab, group, or buttons in the right list, and then click the arrows.
Add a ribbon button to a custom tab or group
- Select Ribbon button in the top list .
- Select the button in the left list.
- Select the custom tab or group in the right list.
- Click Add.
Add an add-in button to a custom tab or group
- Load the add-in.
- Select Macro / add-in button in the top list.
- Enter a Name and Description.
- Click Select to choose the add-in.
- Select the custom tab or group in the right list.
- Click Add.
Reset, import, and export customisations
- To remove all ribbon and Quick Access Toolbar customisations, click Reset.
- To load a customised ribbon and Quick Access Toolbar from a file, click Import.
- To save a customised ribbon and Quick Access Toolbar to a file, click Export.
