To manage document windows

Arrange the windows you have open in PowerInspect.

To show/hide the View toolbar

The View toolbar is displayed vertically on the right of the Graphics window. Use it to access commonly used View options when the View tab is not selected.

To hide the View toolbar, deselect the View tab > Window panel > View Toolbar button. Select the button again to redisplay the toolbar.

To open a new window for the current document

To open a new window with the same contents as the active window, click View tab > Window panel > New. The new window becomes active and is displayed in front of the other windows.

You can open several windows for the same document and display different Measures simultaneously. If you make a change in one window, it is applied in all the windows.

To cascade open windows

To reorganize the open windows by overlapping them so the title of each view is visible, click View tab > Window panel > Arrange & Switch > Cascade. The cascade starts at the top left corner of the PowerInspect window.

To tile windows horizontally

To reorganize the opened windows by arranging them as a series of horizontal tiles, click View tab > Window panel > Arrange & Switch > Tile Horizontally.

To tile windows vertically

To reorganize the opened windows by arranging them as a series of vertical tiles, click View tab > Window panel > Arrange & Switch > Tile Vertically.

To rearrange document Windows

If an open document is using all the space in the bottom of the main window, it may hide the minimized window icons. To reorganize the icons representing the minimized windows in the main window, click View tab > Window panel > Arrange & Switch > Arrange.

To switch document Windows
