When the Deformation tab is selected on the Diagrams for buildings dialog, the following displays:

Selecting the Deformation option allows presenting deformed structure under the applied load.
The values of the following quantities can be selected in the above dialog.
- Average displacements of floor slabs (UX, UY); the description of the average quantities' value is presented in the center of gravity of the object belonging to the story slab (F); the values are calculated to define the drift of stories.
As in the slab gravity center calculation, the average displacement of the slab gravity center is weighed by the weight of the slab objects. As an example, the averaged displacement in the X direction, UXF = SUM(i) (UXi * Wi) / SUM(i) Wi, where UXi is the displacement of the UX gravity center of the i-finite element, the Wi weight of a finite element.
- Drift of stories (dr UX, dr UY); the description of quantities is presented in the gravity center of a story slab (F).
The drift of stories is calculated as the difference of the average displacement of the gravity center of a slab of the subsequent stories.
- Drift ratio (d UX, d UY); the description of quantities is presented in the gravity center of a story slab (F).
The coefficient of the drift of stories d = dr / h, where h stands for the story height.
- Displacement of stories (min / max UX, min / max UY); the description of quantities is presented on nodes, where the drifts are minimum / maximum on each story.
The results of the displacements for stories are also available in the Results / Stories table.
At the bottom there are the following buttons:
- All - displays the diagrams of all the quantities.
- Nothing - hides the diagrams.
- Normalize - displays the diagram of a selected quantity in such a way that the scale is adjusted to the maximum and minimum value of the highlighted quantity.
