    Select a Solver

    1. Click Tools Job Preferences.
    2. In the explorer panel of the Job Preferences dialog, select Structure Analysis.
    3. Select a solver from the Method of solving the system of equations drop-down list.
    Note: If you select an Iterative solver, click Parameters to set up the solver.
    Tip: It is recommended to use the Automatic option when analyzing a structure for the first time.
