After defining general structure parameters necessary to generate snow/wind loads (envelope, spacing, and depth) for the Italian snow/wind code DM 16/1/96, you must also specify the parameters for the snow and wind loads.
The Snow/Wind Loads dialog has the following 4 tabs:
In addition to the standard buttons OK, Cancel, and Help, at the bottom of the dialog there are the following 2 buttons:
- Generate - Starts generating snow and wind loads based on the parameter specified in the Snow/Wind Loads dialog. This automatically creates load cases for a structure according to the requirements of the selected snow/wind load code.
- 3D Generation - Opens the Snow/Wind Loads - 3D Geometry dialog.
