Set imposed displacements

  1. Click Loads Load Definition. The Load Definition dialog opens.
  2. Go to the Node tab.
  3. Click (Imposed displacement). The Imposed Displacement dialog opens.
  4. Enter the displacement (U) to be applied along the X, Y, or Z axis of the coordinate system.
  5. Enter the allowed rotation (R) around the X, Y, and Z axis of the coordinate system.
  6. Specify if the load should be treated as a displacement, a velocity, or an acceleration.
  7. Click a node in the graphic area to apply the load on the structure. The node number is displayed in the Point box.
    Note: Alternatively, enter the node number manually in the Point box.
  8. Click Add. The load is added to the Loads table.
