Create a Surface Form

Create a surface form from a line or geometry edge.

In the conceptual design environment, surfaces are created from open lines or edges, rather than from closed profiles.

Select a model line, reference line, or geometry edge in the drawing area.
Click Modify | Lines tab Form panel (Create Form). The line or edge will extrude as a surface.

Note: On the ribbon, use the toggle button Surface from closed loops while sketching closed 2D geometry to automatically make surface forms.
