When a New command is selected from the Home screen or main menu, the program will clear all data and restore the program stored default values, after prompting the user to save data if any data would be lost.
This corresponds to the initial state of the program when it has just been accessed.
The prompt message issued is:
Select Yes, the program goes ahead and clears the current data.
Select No, the program returns to the open file with no further action.
