Copy a Category

Clone a category by selecting copy on the Configure Categories dialog.

1. Click Tools > Administration > Vault Settings.
2. In the Vault Settings dialog box, select the Behaviors tab > Categories.
3. In the Configure Categories dialog, select whether you want to configure categories for files, folders, custom objects, or items from the drop-down list.
4. From the Configure Categories dialog box under Category Name, select the category you want to copy, and then click Copy.
5. In the Category Edit dialog box, the fields are populated with the settings from the copied category. Make desired edits and click OK to create a new category using the copied settings.
