Manage Cloud Drive Folder Mappings for Project Sync

Create, edit, or delete a cloud drive folder mapping and define automatic sync settings.

Add a Cloud Drive Folder Mapping

Once you set up a cloud drive mapping, you can set up folder mapping and automatic sync settings.

1. Click + to add a folder mapping.
2. Browse to the specific Vault folder you want to set up a sync schedule for.
3. Select the sync action you want to use for this folder.
4. Click OK.

Optional: you can schedule automatic syncing as described in the following section.

Define Sync Schedule

1. Select an existing cloud drive folder mapping.

2. Click the Schedule tab and select from the available sync settings.

   • Daily at–Automatic synchronization between Vault and the cloud drive takes place each day at the specified time.
   • Every–Automatic synchronization takes place at the interval specified.
   • None–Automatic synchronization is disabled with this setting. Synchronization occurs when you click Download from Cloud Drive or Upload to Cloud Drive in the Vault client.
   Note: If bi-directional sync is defined for a cloud drive mapping, any changes to the data in the vault are updated to the cloud drive first. After changes have been updated from Vault to the cloud drive, any remaining changes on the cloud drive are updated to Vault.

Define a Filter for Automatic Sync Uploads from Vault to a Cloud Drive

If you are scheduling an upload or bi-directional sync you can define a filter to upload only files that meet the criteria. For example, you may want to upload only files in a Released state.

1. Add or edit a specific folder mapping.

2. Select the Filter tab.

3. Add each filter definition following these steps:

   • Select the Property you want to use for the filter.
   • Select the Condition for that Property.
   • Select a Value if appropriate for the selected Property and Condition.
   • Click Add.

4. Replace a filter definition following these steps:

   • Select the existing filter definition.
   • Select the Property you want to use for the filter.
   • Select the Condition for that Property.
   • Select a Value if appropriate for the selected Property and Condition.
   • Click Replace.

Delete a Cloud Drive Folder Mapping

1. In Vault Client, select Tools menu > Administration > Vault Settings.
2. In the Vault Settings dialog box, select the Collaborate tab.
3. In the Project Sync Management section, click Configure.
4. Select an existing cloud drive mapping and click Edit.
5. Select the folder in the Mapping section.
6. Click X.
