Use Filters to Customize Folder Views
You can sort and filter the contents of the main pane the preview pane.
You can sort in ascending or descending order based on any column currently displayed, group by column headings, and filter based on properties.

Right-click a column heading, and then select Sort Ascending or Sort Descending from the context menu.

Click the column heading to switch between sort ascending and sort descending.The corresponding column is sorted from highest value to lowest value or from lowest value to highest.
Group by Column Heading
The contents of the main pane and the preview pane can be grouped according to any combination of column headings. When the contents are grouped, items with like values for the selected properties are combined in a collapsible list.
- Right-click a column heading, and then select Group By This Field. The entire list is grouped according to the selected column. Items with like values are collected in an expandable list.
You can group further by adding more columns to the Group By box.
Drag a column heading up to the Group By box. The contents are arranged in sub-groups below the first group.
Drag a column heading down from the Group By box to the file list to remove that grouping.

Right-click the Group By box, and then select Clear Grouping to remove all the column headings from the Group By box and display the files in a flat table.
Filter Columns
Content not meeting specific criteria can be hidden from view using a column filter. There are several default filters from which to choose or, you can specify a custom filter.
- Click the filter icon in the upper right corner of the column header, and then select the filter from the list or create a custom filter.
Content not meeting the filter criteria are hidden from view until the filter is removed.
