Drawing workspace tool names and descriptions
Here are all toolbar tools and their descriptions for this workspace.
Drawing > Drawing > Create
Base View
Generates a base view of the design.
Projected View
Creates projected orthogonal and isometric views of the design.
Section View
Creates a full, half, offset, or aligned section view through the design.
Detail View
Creates a circular detail view of a portion of the design.
Break View
Shortens an existing view by removing a portion of the design.
Create Sketch
Enters Sketch mode and creates a new sketch on the current sheet.
Drawing > Drawing > Modify
Move
Select objects to move, then click Transform. Then specify a base point and a second point.
Rotate
Select objects to rotate, then click Transform. Then specify a base point and a rotation angle.
Delete
Select objects to delete, then press Enter.
Drawing > Drawing > Geometry
Centerline
Select two straight edges. The centerline is created between them.
Center Mark
Select a rounded edge, such as a fillet, hole, sphere, or cylinder.
Center Mark Pattern
Select rounded edges, such as holes or fillets. A center mark pattern including a PCD is created.
Edge Extension
Select two straight edges. An edge extension is created for each edge that terminates at their intersection.

Dimension
Creates linear, aligned, angular, radius, and diameter dimensions.
Ordinate Dimension
Define view origins and place ordinate dimensions referencing them.
Linear Dimension
Measures the horizontal or vertical distance between two points. Create dimensions by selecting an edge or by selecting two points.
Aligned Dimension
Measures the precise distance between two points. Create dimensions that are parallel to the locations or objects that you specify.
Angular Dimension
Measures the angle of a rounded edge or the angle between two points or edges.
Radius Dimension
Select a rounded edge, such as a fillet, hole, sphere, or cylinder, then place the dimension.
Diameter Dimension
Select a rounded edge, such as a fillet, hole, sphere, or cylinder, then place the dimension.
Baseline Dimension
Select an existing linear dimension, then specify a point to create a new dimension.
Chain Dimension
Select an existing linear dimension, then specify a point to create a new dimension.
Dimension Break
Select existing dimensions or leaders, then add or remove breaks where they overlap other dimensions and leaders.

Creates a custom table.
Parts List
Creates a parts list with balloons for the selected component, assembly, or storyboard.
Balloon
Creates a balloon for the selected component.
Bend Table
Creates a bend table with bend identifiers for the selected sheet metal flat pattern.
Bend Identifier
Creates a bend identifier for the selected bend centerline.
Renumber
Renumbers existing balloons or bend identifiers and automatically updates associated parts lists and bend tables.
Align Balloons
Aligns existing balloons and bend identifiers.

Export PDF
Creates a PDF file of the current drawing.
Export PDF
Creates a DWG file of the current drawing.
Export Sheet as DXF
Creates a DXF file of the current drawing.
Export CSV
Creates a CSV file of the selected table.
