Tutorial: Sketch a tuning fork
Modeling parts often starts with creating a sketch that is then used to create a solid feature. Common sketch entities include, lines, circles and arcs. Usually there are many ways and tools to create sketch entities.
In this tutorial, you create geometry without being concerned with the size. Concentrate with the shape of the part. Use multiple tools for creating sketch geometry of the fork, including:
- The rectangle and circle tools to create the handle.
- The line tool to create the fork, including the circular feature.

- Ensure the Design workspace is active.
- Ensure you have an empty new design open. If necessary, click
File > New Design.
