Category Properties dialog box

Category Name, Category Image, and Category Properties define a category. Part categories can also include Category Parameters.

You can only view Category properties for existing categories.

Access:

In an assembly or part file, click Manage tabContent Center panel Editor . Right-click a Category and select Category Properties.

Note: Categories can be created only in a read/write library. If the Content Center libraries are installed on a remote server, you must have Editor permissions in Autodesk Server Console to perform editing tasks. You must be logged in to your vault server. If you work in a single-user environment, you automatically have permissions to perform editing tasks. You are automatically logged in to the Autodesk Data Management server on your local drive.

General tab:

Category Name	Displays the name of the selected Category. Note: Category name must be unique.
Category Image	Displays the current images associated with the Category.
	Small Image Click Load Alternate Small Image to locate a different image to display. Available only when creating a category.
	Large Image Click Load Alternate Large Image to locate a different image to display. Available only when creating a category.
Library	Displays the source library where the selected category is saved.

Parameters tab:

Lists category parameters and parameter properties.
