To add or modify piers

Choose a pier style for your bridge from a catalog of parametric pier components, then edit pier properties as desired.

You can move and rotate bridge piers in Edit mode using the transform and rotate gizmos. Use the Bridge asset card to change the number of piers for a bridge. To manually delete a pier from a bridge, select a pier in Edit mode, then press the Delete key.

To change pier style (using parametric components)

1. Select the bridge and then click again on a pier to select it.
Tip: To make it easier to view and edit a pier or pier foundation, you can toggle bridge deck transparency, adjust terrain surface opacity or even hide the terrain layer.
• Click to toggle bridge deck transparency.
• Click to adjust terrain surface opacity.
• Click to manage visibility for the terrain layer.

2. Once you select a pier, its asset card will display.

Select the orange pier foundation component style name to choose another parametric pier foundation component style in the catalog. Click the thumbnail image in the Pier Foundation asset card to see a more detailed view of the current pier component style. Modify attributes such as skew and offset in Edit mode. Modify properties specific to the pier component style, such as Cap and Columns, in Edit mode. These options will vary depending on the pier component style you choose.
