Use Corridor Optimization for InfraWorks 360 (Preview) to plan a design road’s optimal horizontal path based on parameters you define.
The Corridor Optimization analysis defines a boundary area around the corridor you specify. This area is analyzed to determine the optimized corridor. You can adjust the corridor start and end as well as the size of the analysis boundary area. For best results, tighten the project boundary to fit the selected road, especially if a road to be optimized is short.
Corridor Optimization (preview) cannot be performed on roads that have already been added with the
Design Roadways tools.

to define new start and end points and then click in the model to place the points. The new path appears in the Path list. Double-click the name to rename it.
Tighten the boundary area to include only the area to analyze for corridor placement.
For more information, see To specify avoidance areas.
The values you set will be used to calculate your optimization results. For more information, see the topic on construction and earthwork costs.
The optimization job is processed in the order in which it is received. When the optimization job is complete, you will be notified by email; you can also see the status of the job in the
