In this tutorial, we step through the meshing of the remote crank assembly shown in the following image. Most of the hollow shaft connecting the wheel to the crank has been omitted from the CAD model. We will create a beam element connection between the wheel and crank using the Centroid Creator tool. The meshed model is used in the subsequent Remote Crank Static Stress Analysis tutorial.
