Use the Select tools to select only those entities that are of immediate interest to you.
Select; select a single entity
Circle; select all entities enclosed by the circle.
Polygon; select all entities enclosed by the polygon.
Properties; select entities based on specific properties.
Layers; select entities based on the layer to which they are assigned.
Select All; select all entities
Expand; expand the selection of mesh entities to include other entities to which they are connected.
Select Enclosed entities; include only those entities that are fully enclosed by the selection polygon or circle.
Expand to Planar Triangles; select connected triangular entities in the plane.
Expand to Nodes on same edge; select all nodes of the edge.
Expand to Nodes on same Surface; select all nodes of the surface.
Expand to Triangles on the same Surface; select connected triangular entities in the surface.
Expand to Tetras on the same Surface; select connected tetras entities in the surface.
Invert; invert the selection so that selected entities become deselected, and vice versa.
Select Facing entities; select entities that are facing the screen.
Save Selection; save the selection to a given name, so you can select the same entities at a later date.
Delete Selection; remove the saved selection list.
Deselect All; deselect all entities.
The entities that you have selected are then listed in the Selection List.
