Dimensions (RC Beam/Continuous Footing/Deep Beam)

Once you start the Beam Definition, the Continuous footing definition or the Deep Beam definition, dimensions of the selected RC structure element should be determined. To do it, the user should:

The dialog box provides general information about geometry of the beam/continuous footing/deep beam.

If none of spans has been selected (there is no active span), the dialog box consists of one tab only - Beam Geometry .

If any beam/continuous footing/deep beam span has been selected, two tabs are available:

Beam Geometry

Span Geometry (beams/continuous footings)

Span Geometry (deep beams)

Segments.

Apart from the standard buttons: Apply, Close, Help, two additional ones ( << and >>) are found in the lower part of the dialog box. They allow changing the active span of a beam/continuous footing/deep beam or the active part of the span if it consists of several parts of different cross-sections. The buttons change the active span towards the beginning and end of the beam/continuous footing/deep beam, respectively.
