The Trax context-sensitive menu appears when you right-click a summary, track, animation clip, or geometry cache clip. The options that are displayed in this menu depends on what your mouse pointer is over when the menu is invoked. Many of the options in the Trax context-sensitive menu can also be found in the
Trax Editor menus.
Summaries
For animation clips only.

Paste Clip
- Places the clip copy present in your system’s clipboard at the current time in the track, group, or character you are clicking on.

Import Clip to Character

Lets you import a clip from your disk to the character or group you are clicking on. Opens the
Import file browser window.
Tracks
For animation clips only.

Insert Track Above
- Creates a single, empty track above the track you are clicking on.

Insert Track Below
- Creates a single, empty track below the track you are clicking on.

Remove Track
- Deletes the track—including all the clips it contains—you are clicking.
Clips

Enable Clip
- Lets you turn the curves on or off for the animation or geometry cache clip you are clicking on. When
on, the selected clip is enabled. When off, the selected clip is disabled. See

Enable.

Make Clip Relative
- Displays in the
Trax contextual menu only if the animation clip channels are currently set to use a mix of absolute and relative offsets. Select this option to set all channels to use relative offset behavior. (See also
Absolute and Relative channel offsets and
Offset clip channels.)

Make Clip Absolute
- Displays in the
Trax contextual menu only if the animation clip channels are currently set to use a mix of absolute and relative offsets. Select this option to set all channels to use absolute offset behavior.

Relative Clip
- Appears in the
Trax contextual menu only when
all channels for the current animation clip are either relative or absolute. When on, all channels are set to relative. When off, all clip channels are set to absolute offset. Use this option to quickly set all channels to use the same offset.

Edit Per-Channel Offsets
- Opens the
Attribute Editor for the animation clip. Expand the
Channel Offsets heading to define the offset behavior for each channel. (See also
Offset clip channels.)

Activate Keys

For animation clips only.
- Lets you activate or deactivate the animation clip you are clicking on. When
on, the selected animation clip is active. When off, the selected animation clip is inactive. See

Group/Ungroup

Graph Editor and displays the weight curve of the clip you are clicking on. Select this option only when your clip has a weight curve.

Selects in the scene view all the objects that are members of the character you are clicking on.

- Creates a weight curve for the clip you are clicking on. You can manipulate and key this curve to create various animation and deformation effects. See
