Creating an embedded schedule

To create an embedded schedule:

  1. Ensure that Microsoft Excel is installed on your computer and that Use spreadsheet to create schedule is selected(Schedules page of the Drafting Options dialog).
  2. Create a drawing or open an existing drawing.
  3. Right-click the drawing view, and select Active from the context menu, to make the view active.
  4. Click Annotation tab > Table panel, and choose from:
    • Parts List — to produce a Bill Of Materials for an assembly.
    • Hole — to produce a schedule for holes.
    • Electrode — to produce an electrode summary sheet that includes information about the electrode.
    • Ejector — to produce a schedule for ejector pins, core pins and return pins.

    The Schedule dialog is displayed, containing items from the drawing view as a schedule.

  5. Manipulate the data in the Schedule dialog in the same way you manipulate data in theBill of Materials dialog.
