To create an embedded schedule:
- Ensure that Microsoft Excel is installed on your computer and that
Use spreadsheet to create schedule is selected(Schedules page of the
Drafting Options dialog).
- Create a drawing or open an existing drawing.
- Right-click the drawing view, and select
Active from the context menu, to make the view active.
- Click Annotation tab > Table panel, and choose from:
- Parts List — to produce a Bill Of Materials for an assembly.
- Hole — to produce a schedule for holes.
- Electrode — to produce an
electrode summary sheet that includes information about the electrode.
- Ejector — to produce a schedule for ejector pins, core pins and return pins.
The
Schedule
dialog is displayed, containing items from the drawing view as a schedule.
- Manipulate the data in the
Schedule dialog in the same way you manipulate data in theBill of Materials dialog.
