Corridor regions are used to associate assemblies to specific station ranges along the corridor. Therefore, to assign different assemblies to sections of the corridor, you create regions.
BestPractice: Instead of creating one region for a long corridor, dividing the corridor into multiple, smaller regions typically results in faster processing time for corridor rebuilds and other functions. For example, on a 5,000 meter corridor, create five regions, each of which is about 1,000 meters long. This reduces the processing load when rebuilding the corridor.
