To label point-cloud points

To show point-cloud point labels in the CAD view, select View tab > Labels panel > Point-Cloud.

To choose the selection method for the points:

1. Click View tab > Labels panel > Point-Cloud >:

   Single Point, to label points individually.

   Label All Selected, to label all points in a selected area.

   Label Worst Point, to label the point with the greatest deviation in a selected area.

   Label Maximum Positive Deviation, to label the point that has the greatest positive deviation in a selected area.

   Label Maximum Negative Deviation, to label the point that has the greatest negative deviation in a selected area.

   Delete Labels, to delete point labels.

   The colours of each label are determined by the measurement status of the point.

2. Select an option in the Geometry & Form menu if you want to change the layout or size of the labels.

Note: When you display point-cloud labels in documents that contain several Measures, PowerInspect uses the Radius of points search distance to identify the points to be labelled in the Measures that are not currently selected.
