Calculate Room Quantities

Generate the room interior surface calculations for quantity take-off in Roombook

1. Click Quantification tab Roombook Extension panel (Calculate Room Quantities).
2. In the Calculate Room Quantities dialog, select a calculation type.
3. Be sure that you have:
   • specified your room calculation adjustments through calculation types.
   • selected the rooms for calculation.
   • (optional) attached surface material types to the rooms.
4. At the bottom of the Calculate Room Quantities dialog, click Calculate.

   Depending on the size of your model and the amount of rooms and materials applied, this may take some time.

5. When the calculation completes, click View/Edit Results to review the calculation data.

Note: Once the first calculation is complete, a 3D view named Roombook 3D is added to the project browser. This view is required forRoombook calculations. It can be deleted, but ill regenerate when you make calculations again.
