Creating Runs

Manual runs can be generated in ICMLive Operator Client from the Run Window.

To create a run:

  1. Click New Run in the Run Operations section of the Run Window. The New Run dialog is displayed.
  2. Tip: Generating manual runs can be permissioned in InfoWorks ICM Ultimate or ICMLive Configuration Manager and therefore may not be available to ICMLive Operator Client users who have not been granted rights to perform this operation. If this is the case a warning message will be displayed.
  3. A run name is automatically generated name, which you can keep or you can type in a different name.
  4. Click OK. The dialog closes.
  5. In the Run Window, edit the Run properties section for the new run. See Run Window for details.
  6. Enable the Observed run option if required.
  7. Click Simulate run.
Note: If you are using Autodesk ICMLive Operator Client, and you have not specified a licence, the Innovyze Licence Server dialog is displayed so you can specify it. See Simulation Licence for details.
  8. The Schedule Job(s) dialog is displayed.
  9. In the dialog, choose the computer (or group of computers) that the simulation will run on, whether to store results locally or share them on the server and whether to start the simulation now or at a later time.
  10. Click OK.
  11. Follow the simulation progress on the Job Progress Window or the Job Control Window.

Automatic runs are performed automatically by the Innovyze Live Server once correctly configured.
