Train MotionMaker with Bring Your Own Data

MotionMaker now supports Bring Your Own Data, a workflow for training custom MotionMaker models from your own animation data.

Train and assign custom MotionMaker models

MotionMaker includes tools for training custom ML models from exported BYO Data training data and assigning those models to action styles.

Smart Bevel Enhancements

Smart Bevel now produces better output with improved speed and reliability.

Arnold for Maya 5.6.2

MtoA 5.6.2 is a minor feature release using Arnold 7.5.2.0. MtoA 5.6.2 includes Gaussian Splats, improved Noice Denoising quality, Shader to RGBA, Tone Zones, and more.

USD For Maya 0.37

USD for Maya 0.37 adds diagnostic tools to help you manage asset paths. See all paths in your scenes, including tokens, environment variables, and file paths, to find issues before they affect your work.

What else is new?

This release of Maya also includes the following changes and improvements.

Control Lock/Mute Button Visibility in the Graph Editor	The Graph Editor now includes View > Show Lock/Mute Buttons, which controls whether Lock and Mute buttons appear in the outliner when you hover over channel rows.
Model frame rate for BYO Data training data	MotionMaker now lets you set the model frame rate when exporting training data for Bring Your Own Data workflows. The selected frame rate is stored with the trained model and used during motion generation.
Color Management	The supported version of OpenColorIO is now v2.5.2.
