The 3D Path Rebar Shape Distribution allows you to model transverse reinforcement along complex double-curved concrete elements using free form rebar.
Bars are planar and distributed along the selected concrete element edges.

The bar geometry is defined by a rebar shape, and you can specify the exact dimensions in a section. You can modify the bar geometry at any time, in section or some other relevant views, for one or several selected sets.
The geometry of the bars is automatically matched to rebar shapes, when Workshop Instructions is set to Bend, so that the shape and relevant segment lengths are reported. You can still sketch geometry that is currently not supported, but the bars will report the total length only. About Free Form Reinforcement Shape Matching.
When the size of the concrete host changes, you can constrain bar segments or ends to the edges of the concrete element. This allows the set to adjust its dimensions accordingly.
