Schedule 4D connects your schedule activities directly to objects in a 3D model, so you can see exactly where planned work happens without leaving the Schedule tool. Add a model then create links, manually, using autolink, or link with filters to connect model objects and activities in a schedule. When links are created using autolink or filters, this also creates a rule so matching objects will link automatically when the model version updates.
Project managers, superintendents, and other team members can use those links to understand the schedule spatially. For example, a superintendent can open the 4D view on a tablet and tap Foundation pour – Level B1 to see the relevant slab elements isolated in the model.
Once the model is linked, you can then run a simulation to watch the model build over time.
To work with Schedule 4D, you need to access the List & Model view. Click the view switcher in the Schedule toolbar and select List & Model from the drop-down.

Two permission levels apply to Schedule 4D:
