The view sets are drawing views that are derived directly from a 3D model.
When you create a drawing, view sets are automatically placed in the drawing. The view set consists of one base view and three projected views. The first drawing view that is placed in a drawing is a base view. During creation, you specify the scale, display settings and orientation. Subsequent drawing views you place in the drawing are typically projected views derived from the base view.
-
On the Toolbar, click
to create a new drawing from the design.
This creates a new drawing within Fusion 360 window and launches the viewset command.
- You can preview the base view and the projected views within the new drawing.
Note: The new drawing's sheet size, border, title block and the view set are created using the default values in the Drawing tab within Preferences.
- Move the ViewCube in the direction you want to re-orient and rotate the base view.
Note: The ViewCube is displayed only during the base view creation. Once the base view is created, its orientation cannot be modified.
- To delete a projected view, uncheck the button on the projected view.
- Click Create on the contextual panel to create the base view and the projected views within the new drawing.
