A drawing view is an object that contains a 2D projection of a 3D model.
When you create a new drawing, the view set is automatically placed in the drawing. The view set consists of a base view, two orthographic projected views and an isometric projected view.
The base view is the parent for the other views in the view set. When you change the properties of the base view, all other views inherit the settings. The orientation of the projected views is defined by the orientation of the base view and the projection angle setting of the drawing. When you change the orientation of the base view, the orientation of the other views change to match the projection angle.
If required, you can delete the drawing views that were created automatically and create them from scratch, one at a time.
The projected views inherit all properties from the base view. Once you override a property, the property of that view stops following the base view. However, you can still update the view for other settings, such as scale.
