The ESTmep user interface includes the following features:
Application Window: The application window refers to the entire perimeter of the ESTmep application window or screen. The application window can be resized or moved. All of the user interface components below reside within the application window by default, but some components can be dragged off to another location on your desktop display; for example, alongside of the ESTmep application window.
Quick Access Toolbar: The Quick Access Toolbar (QAT) displays at the top of the application window. This toolbar displays frequently used commands, and can be customized to provide access to the commands that you use the most. For more information, see Quick Access Toolbar.
Utility Bar: The Utility Bar refers to the set of commands that are now available from the ribbon, on the ribbon tab named Utility Bar. For more information, see Utility Bar.
Menu Bar: The Menu bar refers to the commands that are available from the Menu Bar control, located along the top of the application window.
Ribbon: The ribbon is moveable and dockable. For more information, see Using the Ribbon.
Systems & Services Pallet: The Systems & Service pallette is a tabbed interface that provides easy access to items that have been organized into groups of similar, or frequently used items, within a specified service. At the top of this palette is a pull-down menu that lets you select a service. For more information, see Managing and Using Services.
Items, 3D Viewer, and Item Folders Tabs: These tabs provide access to some of the primary functionality of ESTmep. The Items tab is a non-graphical or list view of the items in the current job. The 3D Viewer displays a variety of 2D and 3D graphical views of selected objects. The Item Folders tab provides an Item Folders view.
