Edit breakout sections

Learn how to edit breakout sections in an existing drawing view in the Drawing workspace in Fusion.

1. Hover over the breakout section cut outline.

   The breakout section cut outline is highlighted.

2. Optional: Click once to display the control points to adjust or move the profile of the breakout section cut.

3. Optional: Double-click to display the Breakout Section View dialog to select the desired options.

4. Press Enter or click OK to complete the Breakout Section View command.

The adjusted breakout section displays in the drawing view.

Tip

For modified design geometry, use Reset Start Point to move the start point to the front of the design for depth calculation.
