Export drawings

In the Drawing workspace in Fusion, you can use the commands in the Export panel on the toolbar to export sheets and tables from a drawing as PDF, DWG, DXF, or CSV files.

You can use the following commands to to export sheets and tables:

Note: You can also print sheets in a drawing from the File menu.

Export PDF

The Export PDF command exports the sheets in a drawing as a PDF file.

Export DWG

The Export DWG command exports the sheets in a drawing as a DWG file in the AutoCAD 2013 file format.

Some annotation objects, like Datum ID, Feature Control Frame, and Surface Texture, are simplified. Dimensions are no longer associative. The drawing is not associative to the Fusion design, so it doesn’t maintain any relationships when you edit the design.

You can export two types of DWG files:

Export Sheet as DXF

The Export Sheet as DXF command exports the sheets in a drawing as a DXF file.

This provides a result similar to the Simplified DWG option in the Export DWG command.

Export CSV

The Export CSV command exports the sheets in a drawing as a CSV file.

Text formatting is not included in the CSV file.
