In the Drawing workspace in Fusion, you can use the commands in the Export panel on the toolbar to export sheets and tables from a drawing as PDF
, DWG
, DXF
, or CSV
files.
You can use the following commands to to export sheets and tables:
The Export PDF command exports the sheets in a drawing as a PDF
file.
The Export DWG command exports the sheets in a drawing as a DWG
file in the AutoCAD 2013 file format.
Some annotation objects, like Datum ID, Feature Control Frame, and Surface Texture, are simplified. Dimensions are no longer associative. The drawing is not associative to the Fusion design, so it doesn’t maintain any relationships when you edit the design.
You can export two types of DWG
files:
Simplified DWG: Exports the contents of the current sheet as a DWG
file, including views, title block, border, and all annotations as 2D geometry in Model Space.
AutoCAD DWG: Exports the contents of all sheets to a DWG
file. Each sheet is exported as a separate Layout tab.
The Export Sheet as DXF command exports the sheets in a drawing as a DXF
file.
This provides a result similar to the Simplified DWG option in the Export DWG command.
The Export CSV command exports the sheets in a drawing as a CSV
file.
Text formatting is not included in the CSV
file.
