Reverses the last action. Mudbox stores an unlimited undo queue without consuming memory (RAM).
The Undo history is not saved when switching between subdivision levels.
Reverses the last Undo.
Duplicates the selected object. See also Duplicate a model.
Duplicating a mesh also duplicates subdivision levels and any sculpt layers, and any UV values are preserved. If the duplicated mesh is set up for PTEX painting, the new mesh is also set up for PTEX.
Deletes the selected item, removing it from the scene. See also Delete objects.
Selects all objects in the scene.
Selects all faces not currently selected and deselects all selected faces.
Clears the current selection so that nothing is selected.
Expands the selection of faces across the surface.
Selects all border edges of an open mesh.
Locks selected meshes. Locked meshes cannot be edited with the sculpting tools.
Locks all unlocked meshes and unlocks all locked meshes.
Unlocks all locked meshes.
Freezes the vertices of all selected faces. Frozen vertices cannot be edited with the sculpting tools. Freeze maps can be painted with the Freeze brush.
Freezes any vertices not frozen and unfreezes all frozen vertices.
Unfreezes all frozen vertices.
Calculates and stores the topological center of a topologically symmetrical model (based on your selection of two faces straddling the center line). Setting the topological axis is required for using layer symmetry or if you want to mirror sculpting on a model that is topologically symmetrical, but posed asymmetrically. See Set a topological axis and Sculpt using symmetry.
Scans all meshes in the scene and displays illustrated error messages if issues are detected. See also Prepare a model for sculpting.
If problematic meshes are found, the scan also enables the Display > Mesh Errors option, which displays a red highlight on the mesh to identify the problem areas.
By default, the Validate meshes on import Files preferences is on and Mudbox automatically scans FBX or OBJ meshes for potential problems on import, before you invest any time sculpting or painting. If you have turned this preference off, select Edit > Validate Meshes to run the scan manually.
Sets the current transformation values for the selected object to be its 'zero' position. (Similar to the Modify > Freeze Transformations option in Maya.)
Opens the Edit this stencil window. See Edit a stencil.
