Motion Panel Commands

Controls for assigning and adjusting controllers appear on the Motion panel.

Note: You can also work with controllers in Track View.

  • Parameters
    Use the Parameters selection level to access the PRS Parameters rollout which provides tools for creating and deleting keys. PRS stands for the three basic transform controllers: Position, Rotation, and Scale.
  • Motion Paths
    Motion Paths lets you preview the path of animated objects. You can adjust motion paths directly in the viewport using transforms, and convert them to and from splines.
  • Assign Controller Rollout
    The Assign Controller rollout is a Motion Panel rollout that lets you assign and append different animation controllers to individual objects. (You can also assign controllers in the Track View.)
  • Key Info (Basic) Rollout/Dialog
    The Key Info (Basic) rollout or dialog changes the animation value, time, and interpolation methods of one or more selected keys.
  • Key Info (Advanced) Rollout/Dialog
    The Key Info (Advanced) rollout and dialog contain key settings additional to those on the Key Info (Basic) rollout and dialog..
